The Tour de Lapasse went off as a great success. 30 people were up for the challenge of making 50k in under 2 hours or 100k in under 3.
Only Mark Kulas managed the 100 under 3, sneaking in with 15 seconds to spare (it was actually 109k)! Many riders made the 50 in 2 mark.
Food and drink finished the afternoon at the International Middle of Nowhere Cafe in Lapasse. Thanks to our sponsors Gearheads, Norco, Marin, Rapid Magazine and Shimano for great prizes. Expect it again next year in mid-August.
